Raiders at Loganville

Madison County is playing at Loganville tonight trying to even up their record at 2-2. The Raiders came out on top last week in an overtime win over Winder Barrow.
Late in the second quarter, the Raiders trail Loganville 9-7. Madison County scored on a 12 yard touchdown pass from Burton for their only score sofar.

Lady Mustangs volleyball

The Madison County Lady Mustang volleyball "A" team defeated Athens Christian tonight 2-0 at home. The Lady Mustangs B team forced the best of three set to a third game after rebounding to win the second match. Athens Christian picked up the win in the final match to take the best of three. The Mustangs are back in action Monday at Westminster Academy.

Hoping for a Miracle on Saturday

Well I do believe in miracles but for Clemson to beat Auburn-it might take more than a miracle. If Clemson played the way they did last Saturday, beating Wofford by just a small margin, Saturday's game with Auburn will be ugly.
I am picking Auburn by 12 points. I'd like to think Clemson was looking ahead to this week during last Saturday's contest.
The game is in Death Valley and that's a plus, but a 12:00 kickoff will not be an advantage for Clemson. It's too early of a start time. Nothing good comes from such an early kickoff. Anyway, I'm hoping for the best but I don't feel it. Prove me wrong Clemson!!

Volleyball Mustangs fall to Oconee County

Madison County's volleyball A team jumped out early defeating Oconee County in the first match in middle school volleyball this afternoon. Oconee County bounced back to take the overall with 2 straight wins finishing with a 2-1 win. The B team Mustangs also fell to Oconee County by a 2-0 score. MCMS returns home on Thursday to face Athens Christian at 4:30.
